In this workshop during the spring season of renewal, guests will receive an introduction to the art of holistic floral design, through the artful and therapeutic practice of creating using natural elements with our hands. We will create a fresh, seasonal floral centrepiece together, during this event centred around slowing down and connecting with our creativity to release negative emotions, support our nervous systems, process grief or to be a part of this spirit brightening event.

 This workshop will be lead by Jessica Hobson; owner and creative director of Jessica Hobson Event Artistry at the newly revamped Ernie's Cookhouse, in the private indoor patio.

This is an event planned on the Mother's Day weekend and while we absolutely welcome you to celebrate this beautiful occasion with your family, we want to invite anyone to join us in this experience; as we support and hold a place for those of you walking through a season of loss and grief. Focusing on resetting our nervous systems, awakening our creativity and transporting ourselves into an environment of creative connection and spirit lifting, as we enter this spring season with renewed clarity to celebrate the rebirth and regrowth found in nature, as well as in ourselves.

Fresh, seasonal, fragrant fresh florals and foliage will be used to create your very own centrepiece complete with a neutral, reusable vessel and eco friendly mechanics, to design in for years to come.

- All of the materials and education to guide you in creating your very own fresh, seasonally inspired floral centrepiece in this private workshop
- Seasonal and mostly local flowers curated in a beautiful muted spring colour palette, celebrating the first local blooms in the growing season of Ontario
- An introduction to healing with flowers using simple methods to incorporate into your daily life
- A mini guided meditation



Included in your personalized kit will be:
- one neutral toned, reusable vessel & eco friendly mechanics
- a mixture of fresh seasonal florals and foliage
- all of the tools required to assist you in creating your centrepiece

Our friends at Ernie's Cookhouse will be offering their full food and beverage menu for you to order from, throughout the duration of our workshop. Food and beverages will be paid for directly to the restaurant and not included in the workshop cost.
